Project 3: Hurricane Ike, Quality Assurance Services for Debris Mission

Debris Contractor MonitoringJESCO provided experienced managers and inspectors in support of the Hurricane Ike recovery efforts in Houston, Texas. Twenty-four hours after Hurricane Ike, the JESCO disaster team responded to their assigned work locations. During peak services, JESCO provided over 100 employees to complete assigned work. Throughout project duration, JESCO was fully capable of providing and maintaining staffing, communication, supplies, and transportation.
During the five month project, JESCO project management personnel were responsible for training and managing tower monitors that manned 16 debris management/disposal sites. This involved the supervision of various sized groups of personnel working in locations that were devastated from Hurricane Ike throughout the City of Houston and the surrounding area. JESCO also provided experienced tower monitors to operate the disposal locations. In addition, JESCO personnel provided contractor truck certification teams to inspect, verify, and certify contractor truck volumes.
